Vegan Cuts Snack Box February 2014

I was so excited to see my Vegan Cuts  snack box had arrived in the mail on Thursday!  The shipping was super fast, only a few days.  That is a big plus in my book because I am not always very patient.  Vegan Cuts has a monthly snack box and beauty box.  They were kind enough to send me one of their February snack boxes to try!  The snack box will contain between 7-10 vegan snacks (and many are also gluten free).
Right away I was shocked that they fit and entire bag of chips in the box!  It really was packed to the brim with fun new snacks to try.

Alright here is a picture with all of the goodies.  All of the snacks in this box were brands I haven't tried before so I took a couple days to snack my way through the box for this review.

They sent this pretty information card with product information as well as the twitter and Instagram names for the brands included in this box ( it looks like two of the brands are missing though).  Now onto the snacks!

Two Degrees Apple Pecan Food Bar - This bar is vegan and gluten free.  It contains quinoa, chia and millet.  I loved this bar, it tastes great and has a nice texture.  I will definitely be getting more of these!  Oh, and as a bonus this company donates a meal to a child in need for every bar you buy!

Naked Cocoa Orange Bar - This vegan bar is gluten, wheat, and dairy free.  When I saw the flavor was orange cocoa I had my doubts but again this was really quite good.  I think I would buy more from this brand but just pick one of their other flavors like cashew cookie or apple crunch.

Equal Exchange Fruit and Nut Bar - This is a dark chocolate bar with raisins and almonds.  It sounds really good but I just didn't care for it.  I am not a dark chocolate fan, however I gave the rest to a friend and she loved it.

Hail Merry Strawberry Macaroons - These macaroons are gluten free.   They definitely have a different texture than a regular macaroon since they are made without gluten.  That being said I really liked these.  I am actually going to order some more in the chocolate and caramel sea salt flavors.

Sjaak's Organic Chocolates - This little truffle has a cherry filling.  I usually avoid fruity fillings in my chocolate but it does balance out the dark chocolate quite nicely.  Plus the little individually wrapped truffle is perfect for a quick chocolate fix.

Naturade Vegan Smart Nutritional Shake - I am really excited to try this one but I am saving it for Wednesday when I can grab it before work.  I think I am going to blend mine up with some ice to make it like a shake and with 20g of protein I know it will fill me up.

Runa Tea - I am waiting to try these as well since I wasn't sure about whether they are ok for breastfeeding.  I figure it's better safe than sorry so I am saving these for when I am done nursing.  They sound interesting though with the focused energy (we could all use a little energy some days).

The Daily Crave Veggie Sticks - I opened these immediately and ate the whole bag!  They are amazing and I will be needing more!  They are vegan, all natural ingredients, non gmo, no dairy and no hydrogenated fats so you can feel good about what you are eating.

Earth Balance Sour Cream and Onion Kettle Chips - Once again these are also vegan, gluten free, and non gmo.  These kettle chips had just the right amount of crunch!  I shared these with a friend and we both thought they were terrific, it is hard to put the bag down.  I enjoyed this flavor and I think the cheddar also sounds yummy!

I really enjoyed my box of snacks from Vegan Cuts and it definitely has me wanting more.  You do not have to be vegan to enjoy these snacks (I am not)!  I liked the variety of snacks and thought it was great to try so many different brands.  The snack boxes are $19.95 a month with free shipping.  If you are interested in trying a box please click here.

Disclosure: I received this box complimentary in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
